Introduction and Background
WIDD: Can you tell us a little about your background and what led you to the career path you’re on today?
Evelyn: I started my career in Internal Communications, where I learned how to connect with people and create messages that inspire action. I later expanded into social and digital strategy, leading projects that used storytelling to achieve clear results. I have successfully created and run digital campaigns that increased audience engagement and helped organizations meet their goals.

Evelyn: One of my biggest challenges has been finding balance as a young mother while pursuing a meaningful career. I often lacked a supportive community, mentors, and guidance during critical moments. To navigate this, I relied on resilience, creativity, and my passion for growth. It stands out to me because it not only validated my skills but also emphasized the power of connecting systems and strategies to create meaningful outcomes.
WIDD: What habits, tools, or strategies have helped you stay focused and motivated in your personal and professional life?
Evelyn: Reflection is a cornerstone of my practice whether through journaling, writing, or meditating. I also prioritize creating systems and routines that allow me to embrace my multi-faceted nature without burning out. Staying connected to my "why" and surrounding myself with people who inspire and uplift me has been key to maintaining focus and staying motivated.
WIDD: What advice would you share with women who are looking to make their mark in their respective fields?

WIDD: How have community, mentorship, or collaboration influenced your growth, and how can others tap into these resources?
Evelyn: Community and collaboration have been lifelines throughout my journey. I’ve learned the value of creating spaces where stories and ideas can be shared, whether through workshops, consulting, or mentorship. I encourage others to seek out mentors who align with their values and to approach networking as relationship-building rather than transactional exchanges.
WIDD: What’s your favorite quote or mantra that inspires you, and how has it shaped your perspective?
Evelyn: One mantra that continues to guide me is: "What is for you will not pass you by." It’s a reminder to release unnecessary pressure, trust the timing of my life, and focus on being present. This perspective has helped me navigate challenges and celebrate wins with grace.
