Author Rebecca Vickers Releases Inspiring Children's Book, Benita the Brave

Rebecca Vickers, a member of WIDD, is excited to announce the release of her heartfelt children's book, Benita the Brave, now available in paperback and on Kindle exclusively on Amazon. Inspired by her childhood experiences and dedicated to her dear friend Benita Bobo, the book tells a moving story about courage, resilience, and the power of friendship.

Benita the Brave follows a young girl named Benita who dreams of becoming an ice skater. After a hard fall on the ice, she begins to doubt herself. With encouragement from her father and practice on roller skates, Benita learns valuable lessons about perseverance and bravery.

Launched on February 14th, this book has been a labor of love for Vickers, who spent over a year writing and refining the story. She collaborated with talented illustrator Naty Scabuso to bring Benita’s journey to life with vibrant artwork.

“This book is very close to my heart,” Vickers shared. “It’s a tribute to my friend Benita, one of the bravest people I’ve ever known. I hope to inspire children to chase their dreams, even when things don’t go perfectly the first time.”

Benita the Brave has already resonated with many young readers, offering an inspiring tale that encourages bravery in the face of challenges. Its powerful message and beautifully crafted illustrations make it a must-read for families seeking stories that celebrate resilience and hope.

Both the Kindle edition and paperback version are available for order worldwide on Amazon. For more information or to purchase a copy of Benita the Brave, visit Bright Heart Books online or on Instagram @thebrightheartbooks or directly on Amazon.
